Thank you Sheila Brown, our cousin in Las Vegas. She told me a couple of years ago she had a picture of our oldest known family member Charlotte Brown. Charlotte Brown was born in 1830 as a slave. Her family had a picture hanging in their home, but she did not know where to find the picture. Today, out of the blue, I received a picture via a text, she had found the old picture. Not only in this picture was Charlotte (top picture), but Mollie Brown! She believes it was taken around 1902, because Mollie (the women with the part down her head) is holding her father who looks about 1 years old and he was born in 1901. You are about to see the oldest known family member on either the Brown or Hickman side of the family.
